Throwback Thursday

President and First Lady
Barack & Michelle Obama
October 18, 1992
If these two aren't THE
pivotal Chocolate Bride & Groom,
then I don't know who is.
The absolute pride and adoration shared
between these two is seen as strongly
today as it was in these pictures.
So real, so in love, so inspiring.
Congratulations on the nomination, and we'll see you at the White House!

Seeing this picture does give me HOPE. Seeing Michelle speak at the DNC encouraged me. To see the two of them together lets me know that my marriage DOES have a chance in this world, and can whether the tests of time.

Barack and Michelle show Black love at it's best. Do you see the way they've been looking at each other during this campaign? Even during the DNC, they act as if no one else is in the room when they look at each other. I LOVE BLACK LOVE!!

I'm so glad AMERICA gets to see that Black Love truly exists. We love each other, get married and have babies like everyone else.

I love this picture.

They are indeed the epitome of true black love. Such a gorgeous picture. Strong, and connected...that's what they look like. I can't wait to see Barack's speech tonight. I know I'm gonna be a mess throughout the whole thing. Thanks for posting this pic.

I adore this picture. What I love is that it is nothing special. Black love has always existed but I thank the Obamas for reminding the rest of the country about what we already knew.

I LOVE the Obamas. They are an incredible family. You can tell they are just so in love each time they are on stage together.
